認知機能を改善する!
  • PKCεは、認知機能を高める重要なタンパク質リン酸化酵素です。

    RNAの構成成分のひとつであるウリジンは、ATPの加水分解を促進することによってPKCεの活性化を増強します。

    ウリジンと同様の作用が、向知性薬ネフィラセタムでも認められます。

    ウリジンは、アラキドン酸やリノール酸などの不飽和脂肪酸によるPKCε活性化を増強し、シナプス前終末細胞膜上のα7アセチルコリン受容体の数を増加させます。

    その結果、グルタミン酸放出が刺激され、シナプス活動が活発(=認知機能促進)になります。

    このように、食物に含まれるウリジンは認知機能を改善する作用があります。
